A Book Smart Human Resources Director Turned Creative!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself so that I am reminded that yes, this life is really happening and I am not asleep! There are creatives in my family, but I was never one of them. I was always that person that colored inside the lines and with the color I was told to use. If I was given the option to “be creative and do whatever comes to mind,” I would come to a standstill. I couldn’t do it.
A few years ago I was forced to retire due to health issues; there is more about this in my blog and social media pages. After about a year of being a great housewife and dogmom, something inside my brain clicked over. I began to see ordinary items in a new way and think of ways to make them prettier. I began to create. Tivoli Treasures was born!
